Default Curt 18115 Roof Rack

I found this roof rack on amazon for pretty cheap. My plan was to just fab my own roof rack, but for the price it'd actually be cheaper to use this with the extension and mounting kit. Is there anyone out there with experience with the rack? Most the reviews on amazon are positive, but i still had a couple questions i wanted to ask. Is it sturdy enough to hold a 33" spare? How well do mounting brackets work? Does it hold up well on trail? Basic wear and tear? Thank you guys in advance.

i am fixing to go check out the manufacture to see if i can find more reguarding weight limits. i read that someone hauled 4 snow tires so i would assume for just a spare you would be good. i like the look and the cost of that one as well great find so far. ill continue digging.

Thanks! And please keep me posted. I'd appreciate it. I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I take the plunge and spend the money.

they seem pretty nice for the money, put one on a friends suv about a year ago. He got the extension piece for it as well, seems to be holding up well. For the money I dont think you can go wrong.

so after checking the website i couldnt find a weight mentioned. so im guessing they are putting it on the vehicle specs. so find a better way to attach securely to the roof and go for it. thats my plan atleast.
