So I boxed back up my CSF radiator and the seller on amazon agreed to take it back. I put one in from my local NAPA store and so far it has worked perfectly!

I have a CSF three row. I bought it because I went through a series of plastic tank radiators that failed and decided to try something different. A lifetime warranty is fine and all, but it was irritating to keep swapping out a part that should have lasted longer and didn't because of poor build quality.
While reports like OP's concern me, mine is still too new to say whether it will last. I do know that it cools just fine, but it was installed with the new engine and all new cooling components. If it craps out, I'll be sure to come back here and let everyone know.

By the same token, I notice that a lot of the naysayers have never used one either.

I'm interested in how yours does for you day to day. Did you also do the triple fan conversion or just stay stock?

It does fine. The needle stays right around the 210 mark, which is normal for a 2000. On the highway it sits on the left edge of the mark. In city traffic it sits on the right edge.
I have the stock fans. The fan clutch and the electric fan are both almost new.
