From looking at it, the steering upgrade from Crown looks identical to the steering components from a ZJ. If you're interested in doing the swap here is a video I made of me doing it. Maybe it can help someone out.

If looks oem and only thing oem i know of that fits and is a upgrade is the zj stuff. They are probably just trying to make a few bucks off people that don't know better.
Wonder what Crown's quality is like on the TRE's..
I'm in the market for a V8 steering setup, just installed a BB on latest Jeep and found the draglink needs replaced.
With MOOG being mfg'd in China? how do they compare to the rest of the imported parts? IIRC last ZJ V8 setup I ran (on OverlandXJ) was sourced from AZ and were Duralast branded.
If any vendors here carry Crown please PM me a price..

Yes it is the ZJ Setup. I have photos comparing the XJ to Crown ZJ setup in my build thread. I have no complaints. Steers smooth, handles boulders and rocks just fine. Good step in the right direction if you want more beef without going to 1-ton steering.
Morris never replied to my PM.. ordered through Amazon and installed yesterday. 2nd time i'v done this upgrade.. IIRC 155 to my door for entire setup.

Morris has always treated me very well also, but I bought my ZJ kit for just under $100 from AutoZone. Its been on for going on 5 yrs now and no problems.

Not saying they are bad to deal with, but I've not been impressed by their website. I've also noticed a LOT of their items have incorrect data or pics (see below example), and they are hard to get in touch with to get the right info.

Do NOT PM here. The guy who was handling the CF Account here is no longer with them. They are currently finding someone to take over this account. Originally Posted by TRCM

Your best option is currently to call them direct. Ask for Jessie, Jason or George, they will take care of you. Mention you are a member here for your discount (varies with product/size of order) There is also a price match policy as well.
As for incorrect part numbers/description, I too have found some but of you bring it to their attention, they will fix it. IE: Ordered a brake cable that ended up being the wrong one. Found the correct part number and description, showed it to them so they could make the change.

As for incorrect stuff, I did let them know about several things I came across, back in feb, and they're still not fixed (like the above link). Sorry, that just doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about them, altho I haven't
had any issues with stuff I did order from them a few years back.
