So i installed the thor cowl intake and i am very happy with it. My question is there was some very minor surface rust on the inside of the tubes so i decided to paint them. I just reliezed that might have been a bad idea if the paint chips off and gets sucked into the engine. What do you guys think? It is going to be a pain to sand out all the paint but don't mind doing it if you think its that big of a deal. Thanks guys

 

If you have to sand it out it probably won't come undone, but even if it did your engine would just burn it out your exhaust pipe. Where's your filter?

 

The filter is under the cowl ... it is made by Thor 4x4. Thanks for the reply
