Default Confused About Caster Adjustment

I just finished my 3in rough country lift. I have the full lift with the new LCAs. So now I'm confused about the caster adjustment. The instructions simply show the top screw of the new LCAs screwed out a little. Is that it? Do I need to do the bottom bolt as well and how can I check to make sure they are adjusted right afterwards?
Thanks for the help!

For a 3" lift the lowers should be 1/4" longer than stock (16" eye-to eye) and the uppers should be the same as stock. (not sure of exact length, around 15in)
