If you check the factory build sheet for your XJ, you will see 4 different spring code numbers (Lf, Rf, Lr and Rr). It is common for ARB (Old Man Emu) springs to have a slightly taller spring for the drivers side. It offsets the extra weight of the driver, master cylinder/brake booster and steering box/column. When I installed my Rusty's coils (which were both the same height) I had to install a 10mm spacer on the drivers side to level the truck. It wasn't noticable by eye, but when parked on a level surface and measured from the pinch weld to the ground it was not level without the spacer.

i just bought some new coils that give three inches of lift, they were the same size. and once the weight of the jeep is on the coils, i highly doubt there will be any sag to one side with how much difference you guys are talking about. and its a jeep, it doesnt need to be symmetrical or pretty, or perfect, it just needs to get you where you want to go. thats how i feel about mine even though it sags to the driver side, a lot.

It is funny, especially when you consider the passenger side leafs are always lower than drivers, due to torque.put it where ever you like, i can tell you i have had 3 Cherokees and always installed the longer coil on the passenger side and they are level

Although odd, pretty sure ome designs the coils and leafs side specific.
Coils are an a and b, and leaves are a + and - if I remember correctly.
Either way you guys do the reading here, I'll do the hard part.

). Plus, my wife needs to drive it sometimes. OCD? Maybe but sweating the little details always makes me more satisfied with the overall result of my mods.

No offense taken. If mine were just a beater woods truck I wouldn't care but we occasionally drive it from Jersey to North/South Carolina. Setting the suspension correctly helps eliminate any "quirkly" handling (not good at 80 MPH on I81
). Plus, my wife needs to drive it sometimes. OCD? Maybe but sweating the little details always makes me more satisfied with the overall result of my mods.

Hello Bryan
The A spring will go on the drivers side and the B spring on the pass side.
Thanks Scott.
This is the response I got from ARB, I'm glad I inquired. I measured ground clearance the way she sits now, at the frame right behind the LCA mount with my OCD device (called tape measure). The drivers side is a half inch lower than the passenger.

I'm not a lazy redneck. I just don't have ocd.
Huh, another loud mouth internet tough guy...sweet.
Clearly when I said 'no offence', this phrase, which is used regularly in the English language, did not get processed by your meager amount of grey matter. I'm sorry for your lack of comprehension.
