Well said. I catch crap cause im not lifting any higher than 4 inches and refuse to remove my factory flares. But ya know what, its mine and I built it for me NOT for anyone else.

you're on 38s, lifted sky high and are still concerned about the factory look?




sorry dude, just sounds crazy to me. 38s are no where close to a "factory look" already.

NP. To me that seems like the most logical choice for your particular needs. Plus you can build as you go if you get another front axle. Just take out all the coil stuff, work on mounts for leafs and if you dont finish just bolt back in the axle and coils.

Found a supplier quoted me 750.00 a set for 10 inch coil ...NOT...

Wow, man $750, did they offer you a reach around with that?


Why not weld a 2" metal spacer on the top perch and run 8" coils? But there must be a cheaper way to get them made, I figure they could not cost more than $250

ive got 2.5 metal spacers that will be welded 10 inch coils willl get the 12.5 inch I need

Thought about that ive got f150 coil buckets and retainers jus really dont wanna modify axle as 1 tons are gonna be in the future
