I have the dodge viper coil setup on 2 of my jeep Cherokees(both 01 models). You need a coil(56032520AB or 56032520AC will do). You need a wiring adapter (Airtex 1P2041). You need to cut and flip the wiring connector. I would add about 18 to 24" of wire to this harness to give yourself plenty of room. This depends on where you mount the coil. I made an adapter and mounted the coil to the radiator overflow tank. Then you need a set of wires. A set for a 98 should work. if you can get on NAXJA, there is a good writeup on this. I have had no problems with either jeep since doing this.

This might be a dead thread but I need a little help I converted a 2000 engine to distributor have done all wiring changes and have a 1998 computer running it. Starts up fine idles down then idles down 1 more time and has a rough idle and the headers start glowing orange. Any help is appreciated

Please don't tell me it's not worth it or ask why I want to..just looking for answers not criticism. Thanks in advance for any answers

You might be retarded. Have you checked the distributor index?
