Clutch Pedal for 2000 5spd Swap
I have a 2000 Cherokee I am swapping an AX15 into while doing a TDI swap. I cannot find a 97+ pedal assembly for the Cherokee but I can find the 97+ Wrangler Pedal assembly. Will the wrangler assembly work in my Cherokee?

So again does anyone know if a wrangler assembly will fit? I have been comparing them online and in pictures the wrangler assembly looks identical so I guess I'll just buy one and see if it works.

If you will be putting it in a 97+ I'm 95% sure a wrangler pedal will work. I'm about to order one if I cannot find one in a local yard. I'll post me results either way.

I have already done that, only four listed in the USA when I searched three at the same place and I couldnt get a hold of either yard.

Pedals have differen bends to them ....97 xj on top.....97 tj on bottom.....

Thanks from the old guy. From looking at the manuals that is what I thought it looked but the photos I had weren't as good as yours.
I was thinking it had to be from a 97 and up XJ with all the new changes that year. At least I learned something new today.

Well there goes that idea, thanks for clarifying that for us. I didn't even think to just search for a Cherokee with a manual trans. There is one about an hour away I am going to go to and try to beg them to take it off and sell it to me.
