Is it possible?

*EDIT:
The subject is now, weather or not they will fit with 2" or 3" of suspension.
I do not go wheeling.
It will be my Daily Driver.
I do hunt and it will be used for that a few months out of the year.
There isn't going to be really ANY flexing happening except the occasional rut or washout while hunting.

trying to stuff 31s on a stock suspensions requires a good amount of trimming so 32s would prolly be pushin it

Its always possible. Are you willing to make it possible is the question?

Are you willing to cut or are you wanting to keep the flares and fenders the way they are? (assuming they are stock now)

I have seen up to 33S on stock suspension. Don't expect to have full use of your steering or suspension. Getting aftermarket wheels with more back spacing will help a lot.

I'm stock now, want to keep body in tact, have everything to do a 2-3" suspension lift which I believe should allow me to clear 32's. I just might be trading my stock tires strait for 32's but wanted to have the tires before doing the lift. If I cant clear, I'll have to lift it then swap to the 32's.

Ahh......OK. Makes more sense now. LOL!

Ya, I would wait till I got the lift on then, If you don't want to do any trimming or cutting on your fenders or flares.

What do you think the minimum lift to clear 32's should be? I can easily do 3", but want to keep it basic as well.

I have a friend who just put on a 2" bb and I think it would be tight for him to run 32s. If you have the capability to do a 3" then I would go that route. Also since you don't want to get into the body the 3" would prob. be best.

Are you looking to run stock wheels? Wheels can also help in your decision. The back spacing plays a part of running tires that you want.

3 will be cutting it really close and you will more than likely rub. Most people run at least 4" of lift to clear 32's and still have to trim a little. So if you dont want to cut I would go with more lift.

Plus 3" and 32's without cutting will give you zero room to flex, so you would probably end up tearing your fender flares off anyways.

Well depending if ones wanting to go off road or not also. Cycling the suspension in a off road environment will rub quicker than the roads will make it. If he's just wanting the 32s for now with little playing I would think he'd be OK with 3".

Just my .02 though.

you can do a 3" lift on 32's but plan on rubbing a bit.

i would just cut the fenders, it can look good if you do it right

Im not saying he wont be able to get away with it but he just might not have fender flares by the time he goes to do more lift. Haha. My re kit sits at 4.5" and I rub on almost every driveway as well as tight turns. I have had to trim quite a bit off the back side of fender flare but being the op has a 86 he does have more room in the wheel wells than my 99. So I guess the answer would be if you wheel it no if you dont drive at your own risk.
