yeah, but done right it would look really good.

Forgot that you have rear doors! I have a two door, so that's a no go for me. But they do look good in the rear doors, if done correctly.

How would I approach that? I only have basic metal tools, I have a angle grinder and I have acccess to a welder. I also have drill bits for metal. I don't know if I would be able to do a well cut hole. And would I need a new door panel? Or just attempt to modify it

the hole doesn't have to look good, the speaker/grill will cover small mess ups. You can either mount it to the door panel with the grill or mount it to the door panel and drill a lot of small holes in the door panels for a "grill". Or you could come up with something completely different. Google it and see what others have done.

True. I just remembered I have a little dremel tool that I could use to cut the hole for the speaker. And then just find a way to modify the fabric door panel to fit the speaker. I think I like that idea. I'll maybe give that a try if I can find a way to make the door panel look good

if you're really worried about messing up you could always go to the junkyard and buy a spare door panel to test.

Yah, I'll buy one and see how it works. Then I'll also look into customizing a kick panel, because those q logic ones are crazy expensive.

I do have speakers in my front door, but I have plans for going doorless around springtime and also I have two extra speakers sitting at my house that are brand new and pretty nice, I just don't know where to put them.

What do you mean? The glove box is on the top section of passenger side so I don't think there's room

trying to think of places to put speakers!! Can't look at my dash right now, so it may not work at all, but lot of makers have been putting speakers in the top of dashes for decades. good bounce off the windshield and out of the way. again, can't go look at my dash to see if it makes any sense or not, just an idea

Oh okay, well thanks. It's really hard to think of somewhere that'll fit. I read that if I buy 6x9s I can put those in kick panels, but I already have some 6.5s
