Yep you were right! And an already semi built one isnt a bad idea. I just found it interesting when I found out about the different cam in the SUV 5.0 that it really opens that sucker up. And if a guy knows how to turn a few wrenches, it'd peobably be pretty cheap to go that route! But since he's already got the engine. Might as well run it!

 

That is good to know, though. My dad has a V8 Exploder, and its in great condition.

I bet I could get it from him for a great price someday.

I tell you what I feel like this thread was the best idea I could have come up in brainstorming this project. I have learned more in the 2 days since I started it than I had ever anticipated. I really appreciate the advice and information, guys. By al means, keep it coming.
