Default A/C Eliminator?

Anyone have experience eliminating their A/C? Mine doesn't work and I think it is adding to my cooling issues, so I'd like to just eliminate it....I hope... Any yes or no-ers out there

I would suggest keeping the E-fan if you do decide to eliminate the AC. It can be triggered automatically by the temp sensor on the T-stat housing, or with a manual override switch.

If my evaporator were to go bad I would most likely eliminate my AC. There is no point in carrying all of that crap around if you can't use it.

To remove the A/C pulley, you have to get another idler pulley to take its place. 95% sure the A/C is not contributing to the overheating issue

The only way your A/c can cause cooling issues is if the A/c condenser is clogged. Its in front of your radiator. If its clogged or the finns are bent bad that can block the air flow through your radiator. The compressor when it is off is nothing more the an idler pulley.

Replace the radiator, tstat, water pump and you should be golden man.

Since the AC does not work you could convert your AC compressor to a Air compressor!

Yeah, I just cut the lines for the freon and ripped out my condenser. (dont tell anyone) lol. I have all the parts sitting in my shed for my on board air system but havnt installed it yet, I would also just convert it to a on board air system.
