Brush/Grill Guard Options for Stock 94 XJ Bumper?

Looking for something that can "bolt on" to a stock 94 XJ bumper that protects the plastic up front when saplings and brush become victim to testing the 4wd.
I thought it would be easy to find, but everywhere I look its a couple hundred dollars, ONLY AFTER you buy their very expenses bumper first...

If it just bolts to the bumper, it has no strength, so if you get into a front end collision, it will fold in and destroy your radiator and engine possibly. They are accident multipliers in my opinion.

I made a brush guard that went through the stock bumper once... I liked it. Here is the best pic i have of it. Used 1/4 steel plate to come through and then 3 grade 8 bolts on each side to attach to the brush guard part.
