I wish I could build my own stuff
Thats scary as heck though man. Last weekend I completely snapped my tierod end for my trac bar while I was at my buddies farm. Needless to say I laid a couple bricks in my pants when I hit the main road and hit DW at 30mph.
Glad nothing serious came of it though and that rustys was so responsible with getting you a replacement

Well after reading this thread, among others, I have decided to go with Ironman adjustable upper/lower adjustable with currie for my XJ. I had been considering Rustys, which ends up a little over $100 cheaper but cheaper is not always the way to go.

I don't know who posted this but it's not the OP its 5 yrs old period and NONE recently. I call BULL$HIT!!
You can find an issue like this about ANYONE's products at one time or another bar NONE and generalize about a entire line isn't wise either. If you think OME or the local flavor of the month is immune they are not, I had a bad Bilstein shock that failed after 3 weeks but was shipped a new one ASAP it happens.
I would seem that I would have had at least a few failures after about $5K worth of Rustys parts over a 4 year period, I have not. So in which case do I make my buying decisions, I still look at them all.

I was ready to give Rustys a try. Had items in my cart and was chatting with them trying to get any type of break on shipping or wrenches used on the arms but they would not budge. Got $50 off on the Iron Man set up and free shipping.

When it comes to Rusty's I stay away from their track bars. 1-ton steering looks good though. I have and had several Rusty's products on my jeep and no one issue with any of them. Fast shipping and great quality. This looks to be an issue with the fabricator, that person might not even be there anymore as a result of their work.
