Quote: Zj tie rod is solid, rustys is not. If you buy the tie rod at say autozone, advance, etcc... it will have a lifetime replacement warranty.
limited lifttime warranty they wont replace it for it just getting warout over time...i worked at advance....plus the rustys is a freakin monster 2.5" OD tubing

I saw that rough country has a track bar and tie rod upgrade. Any good? Assuming I have the lift already. Thought about replacing rear end with new leaf packs. What you think?

Can I get leaf packs without purchasing an entire lift kit? That is the bar I was looking to get.

FWIW, people do the V8 grand tierod swaps because they can get them from junkyards for much cheaper than OEM or aftermarket replacements. If your going to replace with new, might as well buy something rebuild-able and stronger.

As for death wobble, have some one turn the steering wheel back and forth while you lay under the front, fix what ever moves.

Do what? Ive been getting parts replaced for years at autozone and advance auto. If its worn or broke you can get a new one. I dont see how getting a huge piece of dom but still using the wimpy stock tie rod ends is going to be better than upgrading to the larger solid zj tierod and larger tie rod ends. But hey Op can do whatever he wants i dont care. I just dont want him thinking that the huge rustys tie rod is going to do anything because all its going to do is make the weak link the factory tre's.

An after market tie rod wont bend like a stock one,of course you could break a TRE but there easy to replace,All you have to do is bump a rock with a stock rod and its bent.My advice would be get a beefy after market rod like Rustys or Big Daddy or whoever put new TREs on it(get it aligned) and take the old one and throw it in the back for a spare.Done
