Bought a used ProComp lift, what else should I get?

My immediate budget didn't allow for much but 4 days with a stock truck was long enough so I scooped up a used ProComp 3" kit. With it I got front coils, add-a-leafs, shocks, sway bar endlinks, lower link arms and a modified track bar? (sorry I am unfamiliar with the terms and he was unclear what exactly the part was). I know I will need U-Bolts (where is the best place to get those?), was thinking about getting a track bar drop bracket and maybe a t-case drop kit. Do I need brake line drop brackets? Is there anything else I should pick up before I start to tear into it? Thanks in advance.

I just did a 3" lift and didn't need brake lines. My fronts have a good 6-7 inches of slack in them, and my rear has maybe 3-4 inches. I don't plan on doing any crazy rock crawling though

you don't need to do anything for the break lines. procomp shocks are not the best i would look at a new set pretty quick. hopefully you wont need a tcase drop but since you have an 2001 thats up in the air the newer cases really do not like to be lifted. there really isn't a tracbar drop kit. there are tracbar's with new brackets but you wont need that for 3".

Yeah this is a DD with weekend beach duty and light wheeling. I would like to buy as little parts as possible but want to be covered when I take it apart so I am not waiting to put it back together.
New shocks are on the to do list, these will go in for now and new ones in a few months.

Bushings in the shocks or the lower arms?
What I have looks exactly like this just a bit dirtier and without that little bracket at the bottom, shock bushings look pretty decent, control arm bushings look good.

*edit plus sway bar endlinks and the long steering arm thingy (LOL excuse my terminology it has been a long time since I have owned a solid front axle vehicle)

steering arm thingy looks something like this?

if so its a tracbar (panhard bar) and a nice bonus to the kit you have.

That's it, do I need it or is it something I can install at a later date (once the temps drop below 80)?

i would put it in now as long as the bolts come out it only takes 20min. you don't have to but its highly recommended make sure you set it to the correct length.

Thanks, so referring back to the first post, is there anything else I should buy in advance? Also, are the upper, rear shock mount bolts readily available at the hardware store (what size)? Just in case things go south on that end.

ubolts like you said and centering pins for the leaf packs. autozone has the ubolts pretty cheap. check the bolts on your LCA's i had to cut some of mine off. if you end up having to cut any of them they are close to 9/16x4.5" grade 8

i just did a 3 inch pro comp w/ full leafs a couple weeks ago on my 99. the shocks are kinda rough which is gonna get old, but better than my old rusty seized shackles and warn out springs. but they are really no different than any basic "hydro" shock that comes with a basic kit. im looking into jk rubi shocks (on a budget), or if you save some cash OME, Bilstein, or maybe even BDS? track bar bracket is a pretty basic peice but its solid and works. and i might get a tcase drop, vibs from 30-45mph. regarding brake lines.. stocks work but you have to be careful flexing the rear. i will most likely get new ones though they are not needed right away. thats my experience so far

<my jeep at 3 inches. Spacers front, shackles and AAL rear. Shocks for 4 inches of lift i picked up for 30 bucks. No trackbar problems. No brake line problems. Slight vibes. Quick discos are a must if you like to wheel alot (every other day for me used to be).

Is $120 pretty decent for what I got? I figure even if I have to buy shocks it should still be cheaper than a new kit. Going to start a PB blaster soaking regime this weekend.
