Default bought an 8.8

And am gonna swap it in. Now, when I do this, can I cut and really the 8.8 spring perches back on it? And what proportion valve can i use since im going from drum to disk?

Buy a 8.8 swap kit from serious offroad. He got everything u need

You can, but it isn't necessary. One from a ZJ with disc brakes will work.

It does make a difference during hard braking.
Been there, done that......got the tee shirt, workin' on the hat.

I did my 98 this past summer,the 8.8 made the 35 look like a power wheels jeep axle.ruff stuff cover,4.10 disc brake,locker.all new p-brake parts,discs calipers cable conversion,seals,woods shaft+sye.

I heard Fisher-Price tried the D35 out but they had to many returns because of broken shafts.

I really did get a good deal on the 8.8 I just bought then. I just picked one up and had
TeraFlex Spring Perches
Dana Spicer Companion Flange
JKS Shock Mounts
4.56s (less than a year professional installed)
New rotors
new pads
and only paid $250

Wow. That's what the junkyard wants for a rear axle that you have to pull yourself up here in Canada. Lucky man.
