It's probably his wheels, with my proper backspacing I never ever rub on a saggy 4.5 (netting 3.5-4 now depending on passengers and gear) and 32x11.5s. This is with 0 trimming other than banging up my rear fender openings a little last time I was out on the trail (trail damage).

Ok, on a stock rig 30s are the largest you should go without lift or trimming. 31s ore than likely will rub. If you wanna get large tire for stock go with 30s. If you're willing to trim then go with 31s

I wish someone would have told me to get 31s when I was stock. They would be fine but I got 235s, The "biggest I could fit" 31s will work and fill the wheel Wells out nice. Get a good rim or spacers

even if you get rims with good backspacing, theres a possibility of rubbing IF you dont trim the fenders a little bit. I would play it safe and go 30 if i were you.

30s will fit without trimming, 31s will fit with either rub or some minor trimming. in the end its your choice. i would go with the 30s

i wouldent say that for sure the 30's i had before theses ones where like highway tires they were trailbusters the ones i got now are much more aggresive and just about rub at full turn if you dont want rubbing u should go with 235. The only thing u can do is buy custom rims like someone said which is not worth it at that point u might as well lift it. If you plan on putting super swampers then there deff gonna rub at 30 inchs if all u want on is some geolanders they will work with minimal if any rub

Would adding a set of bushwhacker flares allow for bigger tires and less rubbing?
