Best front coils springs to get 3-4: of lift?
I'm trying to figure out which ones to get and would rather not go more than 4" of lift. Looking for a close to stock ride. I will not be running a heavy front bumper or winch...and I will have Bilstein 5100's.
At first I considered Rubicon Express 3.5" coils, but learned that they usually produce 4.5-5.0" of lift. Some suggested I could cut them, but not sure that is the best idea???
Then I heard Rusty's 3" coils are pretty accurate for achieving that amount. I'm not sure about these as I have seen many posts about possible quality issues.
I also am considering Old Man Emu V8 ZJ coils which supposedly provide around 3" of lift on an XJ. These are a little more expensive but thats not a deal breaker. The only concern with these is the different spring heights that come in a set, which may be so marginal that its a non issue.
What is your opinion??? Is one of these the way to go? Or do you have a better suggestion???

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard that RE is a quality product. Since I won't have a heavy bumper, winch or armor, the "3.5 RE Coils" would probably put me at 5" of lift. If only they had coils that provided less lift. I guess I will be looking more closely at the others.

Looks like I am probably going to get some Rustys non HD 3 inch coils.......was hoping to get more info on the lift and ride quality of the Old Man Emu 2934 coils, but I guess not many people have them.

Im not sure who actually makes the metalcloak coils or how high these would ride on an XJ, but I have seen some of their other products in person and would definitely be inclined to trust the product.

I have the RE 3.5" coils which have settled to about 4" with an offroad bumper.

My 3" bds coils give 3.25" of lift. I have em with Bilstein 5100s and it rides great. Not too much body roll taking turns either. I don't have sway bars

I looked up the 3" BDS coils. The spring rate is 240 which seems really high. I will be running Bilstein 5100s as well but am concerned about the ride. I dont want or expect a Cadillac, just a close to stock ride.

The spring rate is 240lb but it rides a little firmer than stock but it's a nicer ride compared to most lifted cherokees I've been in. And no heavy bumpers or anything
