Question Best From Disc Brakes & Pads for 2000 Lifted Cherokee on 35s?

My front brakes are starting to make noise, and take a bit of abuse from my 35x12.50" tires...My question was what is the best aftermarket brake rotors and pads for a 2000 XJ 4x4?
Specifically because of the increased tire load, and I'm running black steel wheels.

Thanks CF!!

Moved to Advanced Tech since your modified.

OEM is for stock...and since your not discussing stock equipment.....

The best braking you'll get out of a stock setup, is centric rotors and black magic pads. MrBlaine (black magic brakes) has done a huge amount of research on jeep brakes for every application, in every scenario... from DDs to KOH rigs.

I replaced mine with PowerSlot Rotors and Hawks Pads.....overrated if you asked me.
I would have gone with Napa Premium if i will to do it again.

You might want to look into a Rear Disc Brake Conversion.

^ Posibly the best advice in this thread....

IMO putting "upgraded" pads on is a bandaid and with how much more they are then stock (OEM) regular pads I don't think its worth it. the real benefits in upgrading brakes comes from Bigger friction surface area(bigger rotors/pads), or a better clamping force (bigger/better calipers, or master cylender)

Changing the rear to disk will help take some of the load off the front... But like Most people with Drum brakes, a good clean and adjsut makes a huge difference as peple don't keep up with adjusment. I don't care to swap to a Disk rear as my drums work well, and the E-brake is already there... but I have a waggy D44 rear so the Ford/jeep disk conversion is not an easy thing for me....

any who good Luck!
