I have a 1998 Cherokee sport. I don't need the backseats, i want only two available seats so if a better system could fit where those are i would be happy to fold them up and use their space. My budget is $1000 and i want everything new (door speaker, tweeters, sound bar speakers, subs, etc.) I want my car to bump, like hair is waving from the bass, but still clear haha. I will be listening mostly to rap, and electronic music (dubstep, trap, Trance, etc.). If i could get a crazy system for cheaper than $1000 i would be stoked. Thanks!

1. Need a good HU. check out alpine or clarion or eclipse.
2. need speakers. listen to a bunch of different ones. need to mount them to mdf rings. Just need components in the front and midbass in the rear, no highs in the rear.
3. need an amp to match the speakers.
4. sub, you want it retarded loud. alpine type x comes to mind.
5. ridiculous amp for the sub.
6. you want it ridiculous, you'll need a new alternator and to upgrade the big three grounds.
7. may need a second battery.

more ridiculous = more money.

I appreciate good sounding music as well - I have a pioneer deck that only runs the front speakers, which are infinity component speakers (separate tweeter and mid) and also run another set of infinity speakers in the rear (tweeter and mid in one). I then have a 10" single JBL Sub that runs off an amp. I can turn the volume all the way up and get no distortion, its great. If you want more boom get bigger amp and another sub. The guys that installed my system said that I would not gain much by sound quality wise if I got another amp to run only the tweeter an midrange speakers......
