Cut the bushings off of one set of leafs and bolt just add some of the leafs to the other pack. I would try using the top 2 or 3 leafs out of the sacrificial pack into the other one.

Search on bleepinjeep's YouTube channel for how to make a bastard pack.

Yeah thats what i have been reading... both sets are pretty tired, but maybe that means more flex once i get it high enough... now i gotta figure out extending brake lines, oh it never ends...

I did just what you are thinking. With a IRO shackle relocation kit, a stock xj pack with the old main eyes cut off, and put up under new main. That netted me about 4" total srpings are still flat, and flex great.

Is the shackle relocation needed? So was your new main, brand new? If i read this right, you just added 1 leaf (an additional main) and got 4 inches? Cool

Back when I had my lift on I used a 1in lift shackle and the two top leafs from another xj leaf pack to get a bit over 3inch of lift.
