Backup aux lights
When I did mine, I mounted them flush in my rigidco rear bumper. I wired them to my fitchbox and to the reverse light circuits. I used a relay and my switches came from OTRATTW. I used diodes from RadioShack to prevent backfeed from the stock reverse lamps into the switch, as well as from the led fogs into the stock lamps. This way they come on automatically in reverse (basically the stock reverse circuit acts as a "switch" that turns the relay to power the LEDs). I can also turn them on any time with the switch.

My rigidco bumper is 3/16" steel so it was a pain in the *** to cut them out. However the flanges hide the cutout well, so it still looks good.

As far as visibility, I got the lights with diffused lens from sidetracked offroad. Much cheaper than rigid. In fact one of the pictures on their site was my jeep. They are night enough and wide enough that I've never felt I needed them higher.

Whoops. Realized I already commented in this thread. Oh well
