My 2000 has the same issue, 6 in lift. I've found that the rear shackles are hitting the frame when the rear axle goes up.

Lay underneath and have someone jump up and down on the back.

did you tighten the shackles and leaf springs with the Jeep jacked up in the air? or did you tighten them on the ground?

did you torque them to proper specs or did you tighten them crazy tight?

what do you shackle angles look like?

I have the 4.5" RC leaf packs in my lift. They need to be flexed, mine softened up after I went wheeling and stretched everything out.

definately make sure the rear suspension isn't bottoming out and that there are no unusal contacts points. torque specs are correct? then if all is well it more than likely stiff and will soften eventually.

Mine does the same thing and I changed the rear bushing in the back of the leaf spring, it got better but it still does every once in a while. What it is the bushing is sliding back and fourth in the spring, I'm going to do away with the bushing and go with polyurothane.

Your shackles should be pointing towards the front of the vehicle at a 45 degree angle more or less.

You should only have one shackle. With two shackles you actually have 3 swivel points by the way. Do you have a pic of this?
