Thought about that but I'm in New York City and don't have a garage or yard, so anything I do would be on the street. I've done some things that way but tearing off the rear end might be a little much. 
Don't even want to think what the tow fee for that would be if they took it.

Looks like narrow choices to find a 8.25 in 3.73
