Hey my Jeep got totaled but I am buying it back and getting the repairs done myself.

The axle is bent.

At my local junkyard i can choose between these axles for a 2000 xj

i have a 2000 xj with a 3 inch lift and 31" tires. which axle should i use?

thanks

The 8.25 is stronger. on the ratio whats in the front you need to match them. The 4.10 would be good but not if the front is something else.

definitely the 8.25, and in whatever ratio you have unless you plan to regear the front, in which case the 4.10 would be nice on 31s

On a manual trans that combo makes first gear absolutely useless.

But the 8.25 all the way. The D35 for anything besides on road driving and light offroading is garbage.

If you have an auto then you more than likely have 3.55 in the front.

Around here in az they can go from 150 and up depending on miles and whats done to it and such. Again make sure you know whats it the front before you buy one unless you are gearing also.
