I'm doing an auto trans swap (xj aw4) into 97 tj, 1st year in Wrangler for OBDII I think.
I need the correct flexplate and converter. Anyone able to confirm some info?

Flexplate, I think I got figured out, I'm going to pick up a #52117761 or FRA 480 (late xj with 4.0)

Torque converter, Will a early (1987) XJ converter work?
not sure what crosses over but I do have an extra complete trans available but its a early model XJ with 21 spline (I planned to use that torque converter, reinforcement ring, hardware and plate )

I have a good 23 spline aw4 transmission for mock up installed. Its connected to an Atlas that's mounted flat with adapter ring from AA. I have one of the original Rail Shifters from Rory (no plan for any computer control just manual shift with Rail Shifter).
