Default Auxiliary Lighting Questions

So I am thinking about getting some off-road lighting for my truck, mostly for hunting, fishing etc.

I would like the best look of course, as my Jeep is also my Daily Driver and I don't tear it up anywhere.

What setup is the best (fog, pencil, driving) and where should I mount them in your opinion that would look the best?

Would I need a second battery to run multiple lights? I would like to be able to light up the field.

What lights do you all recommend?

Sort of considering this, not sure what lights to run tho.

If you have a steel bumper I would weld on light tabs. I think that is a clean, good look. I also like the A-pillar setup but have never been able to find the bracket's. My fog lights never worked and I never try to replace them.. Just removed so I do not know about running them down there. Though is seem's way too low. You will not need a second battery. I have 4 kc daylighters and a cb radio running off my battery. No problems for 2 years.

With the decrease in cost of LED's, no reason not to run them. Especially since they use very little power in comparison to halogen lights.

Dirtbound has great deals on LED lights, there are a handful of vendors on pirate that have really good deals too.

i will add that ridgid stands behind their products i have the d2s in amber on our semi truck, we hit a couple of small deer in 2 seperate incidents it cracked the mounting bracket and put a couple of hairline cracks in the lens i sent it back to them and they put a new lens in and replaced the bracket, i later realised that the other side had a cracked bracket as well, made a call and they sent me the entire bracket package with all the hardware for 2 lights all for free. i did have to pay shipping for the light back to them but everything else was free

Fog/widebeam go below headlight level
Driving lights at or slightly below the headlights.
Flood lights should always be way ahead of the driver.
Spot/Pencil beams go overhead.
