auto trans swap
What is the simplest option for a auto trans swap? My trans is toast, what can i swap in its place that is the easiest option? I am considering a a remaned aw4 since thats what it had from the factory, but if there is a better option for minimal effort swap i would like to do that. thanks in advance

how well does it handle actual offroad conditions though? I am going on a wheeling trip this june with a bunch of guys from work, i need something that can handle climbing some moderate ledges

the AW4 is by far the best trans you'll ever install in your XJ. They take a heavy beating and are reliable.
