Default apn header

I finally decided to pull the trigger on this header and it seems to be out of stock everywhere. Anyone know why?
Thanks

Their quality control noticed a batch with bad welds so they stopped production to fix the issue before starting back up.

That would make sense, I saw on a couple site that they will have them on stock July 1st.
Did they change their name?

I'm going to go with one of the ones from eBay seller speed _ daddy. I've been reading mostly good reviews.

I've also decided to order likely a APN header.

However, I've heard I might have to modify it to work with the 99 intake manifold swap I'm doing.

Is there any real benefit between it and the new OEM ones that have bellows to keep from cracking?

From what I've been reading, those bellows end up cracking contrary to advertisement. Best bet is check/replace motor mounts and trans mount then install new header. If your mounts are shot your going to continually crack the header as you replace. Everyone raves about the knockoffs of banks and a couple other brands. All look exactly the same. Iirc for the 99+ you just have to grind a little off for clearance so you don't have a vacuum leak

My mid year 99 didn't need any grinding and I have the 00-01 style manifold. Mine has not cracked but it's only been on for a year

If you look online there is a fare amount of people with issues with header install on 99+. Just a little grinding from what it sounds like. Google and see.

Put up some pictures of the Flow Daddy when you get it, for an $80 savings I can afford to spend time grinding a bit.

Also x2 on comments about people cracking new manifolds due to not replacing mounts prior to installs.

Also the one I got is ceramic coated so that's a big perk. I'll post pics when it gets here
