I don't see any pics of the mounting tabs at all. Unless I'm just missing it.

I am really interested, however I would like to see some pics posted here of the mounting tabs and maybe even them mounted.

I want to give you some of my money, could you put a bit more effort in...please?

I don't get it. I have had a set of similar guards for years, but they have issues. So I'm also interested in a better product, which yours could very well be, considering you have an extra rod for stability that mine don't have. But it would have been better if you had waited until you had pics of a fully completed prototype unit, showing all aspects, instead of posting a teaser ad with multiple promises. This is frustrating & some people lose interest quickly. I know for a fact that there are 2 ads on ebay with a similar product.

Get with the program before my ADHD kicks in! Been checking this thread repeatedly since the first day you posted and after a week there's still not enough info ...

Edit: And by the way, I ain't far from Millville ...

we dont have a finished product yet because we wanted to know if there would have been any interest before we started making sets of TL covers
we also have had a hard time getting the time to finish, we both work full time jobs and our hours are completely different

for the guys with a 97 xj and newer we will be a little longer on because we dont have one for mock up yet, thats been another issue with getting together with my friend when he has time

so as i said before sorry for the inconvienence we are trying to get a set completed as soon as possible and will post pictures also as soon as possible

Yes.
The mounting brackets on the inner portion rub agains the trunk lid when I close it. I bought my fist angle grinder specifically to correct this issue. I ground down the tabs so far that the integrity of the guard has been compromised, and they still rub. Pics will give you a better idea. Where in Millville are you? PM me ... I could drive out & show you what's up. A better design that will provide sturdy mounting, with no impediment and improved strength is something I'm willing to support. Maybe you could learn something from the poor design of mine and we could all benefit from that.
