anyone heard of keystone fab?
I have been looking for a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier and jerry can mount for under 600 and after finding a couple like dnd offroads, I stumbled across keystone fab.
For reviews, I found a couple that stated bad communication, good work and about 2 week ship time.
Anyone have some info on this?
thanks

Well I have now after talking to one of the guys there. So far good customer service, even with my thousand questions and odd schedule. I will be ordering my bumper today and see how it goes. I do love getting a product that is made not only in the USA and goes directly to a community.

Nice find... and holy smokes, $340+$85 shipping? That's a good price for a tire-carrier bumper! I might have to keep this in mind. Let us know how it goes when you actually receive it.

Well so far I can vouch for the customer service issue. Still waiting and after 2 emails and a message left on their phone I don't know what's going on with the bumper. We shall see how it plays out

2-3 weeks seems fairly typical for a small (two man) fab shop. The lack of communication, while annoying, shouldn't really be of concern... yet. It's really hard to talk on the phone and return emails when you're welding a bumper. The sample transaction posted by Andrew looks like their delivery time is around two weeks and you're at exactly two weeks assuming you ordered when you said you did. Give'em a few days but continue trying to contact them. If you don't have a bumper or a response by next Friday, I'd be concerned.

Not knocking them just understanding some of the "customer service" issues that have been noted on the internet. When I talk to Tyler on the phone he was definitely personable and easy to work with. I expect nothing but quality with r his bumper from other reviews.
Simply agreeing with other postings of difficult communication, and what is considered a slow delivery time these day. This being a small shop I think under a month would be acceptable, a machine isn't just spitting it out lol

I'm sure hes working a full time day job so give him time to get back to you.But some of these smaller bumper shops kinda scare me.Seen a few too many post about a small shop taking peoples money and running.

They haven't had any reviews like that, they have been in business for 8.5 years and from what I have read the only issue people have with them is delivery/fab time and customer service issues. To me these are not a big issue as long as I get a well made product in a reasonable time.

Ended up being under 500 shipped. My time is worth more far than that. Between r and d, fab, and materials I would be in much above 500. If you have the time to do nothing but fab this, good on you. I do not.
