I just lifted my 1998 Cherokee Sport. 5 1/2 inch rubicon express short arm, with drop brackets. And adjustable track bar. I also installed rugged ridge heavy duty steering.
When Im driving down the road and hit a bump the jeep wants to dart. there is also a dead spot in the steering wheel.
I know that the track bar and drag link should be parallel and the same length. How do I fix this problem???
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

^^x2 also look at getting a drop pitman arm. It will bring your drag link down to line up with your trackbar.
This is the one I purchased to go with my 5.5" lift

x2 on the drop pitman arm, it will help a little. As for the rugged ridge steering having a dead spot...that is what you get with a steering setup like that (all the brands using that particular tre on the rh side will give you the dead spot). You can add a spacer ( .125 - .1875 thick) between the tre and the knuckle and that will help drastically. Other than that you'll just have to get used to it.
