Default Amassing parts for my "frankenlift",,, advise or tips?

XJ is a 96 with the 2.5 ,,2 door and a 5 speed,,8.25 rear

While my time here has been short I have made several purchases from new friends here and chatted it up with others about what my plans are.

First is where I will be running it.
Besides being a DD,, it will be in the woods here in SouthCentral Pa. We have a LOT of trails available to us and they WILL stay open as long as we tread light/ pick up trash and don't generally destroy anything. Mainly trail crawling,, some rocks-some mud,, . The other place is the beach. I have a year round pass for both our Jeeps in Delaware. I fish a lot and drive onto the beaches I also have friends in Jersey and on occasion I hit the barrens.
Oh yea,, I have 33" x 10.50 x 15 radial swampers that wife didn't like so they are now mine to use too.

SO,,, with all that said here is what I have and the direction I will be going. Mind all that I AM open to suggestions.

Front,, 6.5" coils, CA drop bracket kit, shocks, new steering stabilizer, new sway links, new extended brake lines, track bar relocation bracket, dropped pitman

Rear,, I already have a 6 leaf pack that came with the vehicle when I got it. The previous owner ordered it like that and I also have the 8.25 with 4:10s. I will just add S10 leafs till I get it where I want it. Add shocks and brake lines.

Instead of a Tcase drop I will just do the elcheapo self HnT I saw here. That will be less than a hundred with the front shaft, unless the shaft needs modded.
This one:http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/c...thread-803292/

With all this here is there anything I missed? Like I said this is a frankenlift so as far as I care all "rules" are out the window.
I'm shopping for gears too. So if anyone has a set of 4:56s hit me up. I need the D30 and a set for the 8.25. And a used locker for the front,, preferrably an Aussie as I already have a POSI-LOC.

Then when I get ready,, I will have a PARTY and if anyone cares to or wants to I will feed ya and get ya drunk and we can install this stuff.

Let me know what ya'll think.

I would strongly suggest that you consider 4.5" and some trimming...

also consider using the 13-4100 superior automotive chevy lowering shackle. I is about $30 and autozone an advance both carry it

The shackle is good for around 1.5-2" and it will work a lot better than just adding leafs, I would see where the shackle lands you and then add leafs as needed.

also I would not run a trackbar relocation bracket if you are planning on 6.5" I would get a new double shear track bar.

I guess I am trying to say that at 4.5" you will not need as much stuff as you will need at 6.5"

I forsee this ride being a problem for you later on if you go this route...

P.S. what about a SYE kit?

Sounds like the perfect set up. I ran the exact set up on my 1998 that your planning on running in the front. Just get the trac bar and bracket from rough country other then that I think your set. Shackles over more leafs any day, you get better ride and flex.

If you can afford it, go long arms. If not then get a good set of adjustables with johnny joints and remember, with drop brackets, your lca's will need to be shorter than without them.

This is what I have read practically everywhere I have looked. Also from what I read if the camber is off then upperarms might be needed but there IS like an inch or more adjustment in the brackets. (from manufacturers descriptions)

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong
