Alternator
Have a prob go mudding alot have a 95 Cherokee 6cly 4.0 but seems like every time I get in big holes my alternator goes out prob cause it's wet or something. What can I do?

Getting it wet isnt the problem, you're going mudding therefore you're packing it full of mud.
Make a tray/skid plate that goes under connecting to the front cross member. that will shield it from a majority of the mud and prolong the life of the alternator big time. I did that for snow on mine.

Ditto on mud and/or loose wires. Ultimate solution: move your alternator higher....
