So I'm tired of hearing "why not on board air" so don't even go there
Couldn't find where anyone relocated the alt to AC location and deleted the fan pulley altogether
2less pulleys and bearings to worry about
Pic soon as she starts

Wanna pop one of those out for me? Or shed a little more lightning the situation?
Did you have to swap the belt?
Been lookin for something like this and haven't seen the ac delete bracket for the older XJs and this is ideal since the alternator is more accessible.

No, the Alternator would basically be moved to above the Clutch Fan and put in AC Pulley spot. It looks like both are removed. The Water Pump Pulley is right below the thermostat housing. You would remove the AC. In the 4th picture, the water pump is on the right with 4 bolts.
I'm curious if there was another electric fan added or if not, was a bigger electric fan hooked up and which one.
Also, what size belt was used.

Looks like a simple mod. I think you could make a couple bucks making a simple kit and selling it on the forums. A basic set of instructions, that fancy bracket, and parts list for common parts. I'd pay ~$20 for it (bare steel) if my wife would put up with no AC. Its been broke of last few years, I keep putting off fixing it.
