Default Almost death wobble help

Ok I know what real death wobble is. You know the feeling your xj makes right before death wobble, that's the shimmy I get. Has new Trac bar and hd mount, has heavey duty steering setup, new lca not uppers, steering stabilizer, no sway bar (not the cause)pads rotors u joints all new. Steering is out of alignment slightly and still has factory ball joints that seem good. Kicks in around 50 - 60 mph. Any ideas would be great guys, it's really annoying

1st start by checking your steering (caster, toe-in, etc.) one may be off dramatically. you may need to get an alignment. after you check all that, hop under and tighten everything up. it may or may not be as simple as that

UnBalanced tires
Bad alignment
And bad ball joints I think are the most common causes of death wobble

I just went through the same issue as you but my occurred At 40-50mph. Everything was new and tight on my Xj. I had the tires balanced and rotated and it got worse . So I bought new tires my issues went away.

Thank you. Most people dont relize that 2/10 new tires are out of round. And while it may not cause an issue on ifs rigs. A solid axle just makes that problem extremely apparent

I do know the guy that aligned my xj
Said he didn't like it due to the fact
That it was to hard to align? Won't go there again lol
