Just remember, the more leaves you use the higher the spring rate (which has already been stated) and the rought the ride and less articulation.

I swear almost all jeeps I see around here have sagging rears...I always wondered why (forgive me for I've only had cars mostly). Now I know they're all cheap-skates who want beer more than leaf packs!

Or folks that have bills to pay and can't afford leaf packs.

I was explaining this to my TJ driving friend earlier... UniJeep drivers (most of us) want our vehicle to function. Many of us don't care how it looks. That's part of owning a ~$1k disposable vehicle. If I had $20k to spend on an LJ and money to mod it, it would have name-brand parts. For my XJ/MJ? Craigslist or Amazon if I don't know someone who can make it for me.

I can barely afford the gas for my jeep lol. But for some reason I like the sag in the back, reminds me of the baja trucks .

Mine doesn't sag usually but when I load it with camping gear it looks stupid. If I didn't have bills to pay id have new leaf packs.

96 xj classic 2wd
i have a 96 xj and according to the measurments and what i have read here
FRONT 20.5
REAR 19

so front has 3 inch lift rear has 2 inch lift. from what i see the previous owner installed 3 inch coils in front and rear add a leaf with some skyjacker shocks.
Anyway it has 31x10.50x15 on it right now but 2 tires are almost bald. I have a set of 5 33x12.50x15's i can put on it but obviously isnt gonna clear so...

I ordered 2 inch poly spacer for front coils
2 inch shackles for the rear and i guess if i have no rub issues now, 2 more inches in tires, 2 more inches in lift and i should be good!

My jeep is my daily driver and it only 2wd :-( sux i know but anyway is there anything else i will need! shocks on order already and i have an adjustable track bar but will i need (extended brake lines?, drop pitman arm?, anything else you guys can think of!) thanx in advance you guys are awesome!!!

Sway bar drop kit, SYE if you plan a 4wd swap, brake lines for sure, a drop Pitman wouldn't hurt, but isn't needed

Good luck man, and welcome to the forum!

Gonna need to trim. You have to trim to fit 33's comfortably with 6.5
