The fabric I ordered was 60" wide by two yards long, only cost about 17 bucks shipped. Plus comes in just about any color and camo out there. I figured after I see everything up shouldn't cost more than 100 bucks to do all the seats.

I looked up the fabric on ebay, it seems to be a good price for quality material. My comment on cost was someone's link to a MOLLE seat cover.

If they're still around (I haven't checked lately,) you can also get MIL-spec material from www.diytactical.com - including specs for how it's all put together, and tips on how to design and make stuff (the forum was around before the online store.)

I probably have a few other sources for parts and materials, I can look if asked nicely...

Velcro-backed terrorist hunting permit? Where'd you get it! That would be a fun little "morale patch" for my field gear...

Here is my visors installed and loaded up with pen, glow-stick, knife, surefire, and seat-belt cutter on the webbing side. Name-tape, notepad, and ID card on the other side.
Been a month with my MOLLE visors. No issue carrying the weight of the gear in the pictures. No issue with bumps or driving at various speeds. I'm happy with how they came out.

I also came up with a way to mount my shotgun. I ripped out my old headliner because it was falling off anyways and it smelled like cigarettes. So I took a heated butter knife and made to slots in the adhesive that glues the rear crossbar to the roof. I ran two lashing straps (available at any camping store) through the slots, and lashed my Mossy to the straps. I left about a quarter inch between the shotgun and the crossbar so it wouldnt rub. I have driven about 300 miles with it and no problems.

^ I like this shotgun idea. Wish we didn't have stupid gun laws here or I would be doing this.

I don't leave it there. I just put it there for trips to the range and whatnot.

just 1/8" flat steel from home depot, some nylon spacers, and some nuts and bolts.. drilled thru the bars, then spaced them out on the cover and drilled those out too. assembled them with a 3/8" nylon spacer between the bar and cover, nuts and fender washers on the backside. then i predrilled and ran a few extra screws thru the cover into the hatch to support the extra weight. took maybe an hour or so to put together, and cost me maybe $40 said and done?
