Ok so I kust bought a 1994 jeep cherokee and I want to put different fender flares on it since I dont like the stock ones and ive been searching and looking to see if they make any that dont require and cutting or trimming im sure this has been asked before but im new here and I couldnt find anything on here so im hoping you all can help.

The only flairs that I know of that require no cutting are the aftermarket stock replacements. That being because most use larger tires/wheels that require trimming to fit.

 

Rusty's flares don't require cutting but they won't give you as much of an opening as they offer.

 

Yeah, the main reason most people want to get aftermarket flares is so they can fit bigger tires, so the vast majority will require trimming the fenders.

 

Come to think of it I have a full NITB set of 4 Rustys flairs (look like the "Brush Whackers") I bought and never used. These are the ones that flex and don't break like the fiberglass ones, if interested email me at mfsj@totalhighspeed.com will make a deal on them.

 

Another thing to think about is any aftermarket flare is gonna require drilling holes in your sheet metal. If your gonna do that might as well trim at that point.

I would avoid bushwackers you have to cut a lot of sheet metal in the the rear.

Napier has some new flat flares that you could get away with very little trimming. Would have to trim bumper end caps but no where near the amount of trimming bushwackers require.

I no experience with rusty flares.

 

If I was to get aftermarket flares, I'd get the new Napier flat fender flares. They're cheaper than Bushwackers, but better IMHO. They look really good, and they're made from strong, flexible plastic. They also give discounts to forum members.

 

Super easy to mount. Love my Napier flat flares. Doug is great to work with too.

 

I love the Napier flat flares, just can't justify the cash for them.

 

Agreed ^ Doug is great, he asnwered all my questions I had and seemed thoroughly interested in what I had to ask and say. I'm getting his V2 flares at some point, I like them more than flat flares but that's just my opinion.

 

So rustys flares dint require cutting then ill look into them does anybody have a link and I just like the bushwacker style but I dont want to trim but idk mabe I will ive been looking at some jeeps on here and they look good
