Is your Sunpro temp gauge mechanical or electric? If it is electric, you can easily swap it out with the factory temperature gauge/idiot light probe, which is located on the drivers side of the head, at the rear of the engine.

Mechanical temp gauge- the probe is too big to fit in the stock temperature gauge spot. I had the same idea, but ended up returning the mechanical gauge for an electrical. Plus, the mechanical ether hose is a bit obnoxious for routing purposes, depending on where you decide to mount it. If you are dead set on the mechanical gauge, you could either drill and tap the existing temperature gauge hole, or (the option I was considering) use a fitting like this http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/3749/agadapter32mm.jpg on the correct section of your heater hose. This is far from ideal in terms of temperature readings, but will probably be better than the idiot light, and is certainly better than nothing. For the trans temp, I am less familiar (manual trans here) but I believe all you will need is a tee fitting... Hope this helps at least a little.

i welded up my own inline fitting for the mech. temp gauge. but you can buy fittings like it in fancy pants aluminiminulum on ebay for cheap too. and for the oil pressure, i just teed off the sender hole. works great.
