adding lift to 4.5 RC lift kit
I just had a couple questions. Heres the scoop, I bought my 98 xj with a 4.5 inch rough country lift kit on it. The kit is the basic kit. It has the AAL with the 1 inch angled liftblocks and 1 inch lift shackles and relocated (drilled and moved over) trackbar. I am looking to install a hack n tap sye soon, so im ditching the liftblocks and AAL setup for new RE leaf pack and shims. I have not bought the springs or shims yet, so I was thinking that instead of buying 3.5 inch leaf packs to level it out maybe I would go an inch more and go with the 4.5 leaves which would increase my lift by one inch. If I went with the 4.5 inch pack and maybe added a 1 inch coil spacer up front, would I run into any problems anywhere else? Would anything else need to be changed other than the spacer and leaves to make this work properly?

I would go with the 3.5" leafs. They definitely lift higher than advertised. Most people, including myself, had to add spacers up front to level their RE kits.
