how long will it take for my add a leaf to be done sagging?
here is my story
I added a 2" BB lift, the rear springs were bent backwards and sagged about 2"
so I added a skyjacker full leaf 1-2 lift, the sales guy told me it should work out about perfect.
after installation the rear was raked about 2.5 " taller than the front.
so i put 300 lbs of weight in the back to get it level and was going to take weight out as it settled. it has been about 5 weeks and it has settled about 1/4 inch so far. I have drive-line vibes and am going to shim the rear axle but want it to settle were it is going to stay before I do it.via shorter shackles or hopefully the leaf springs will settle.
any opinions?

 

Mine finally settled after about 6 months. I did a lot of wheeling over that 6 months, so that may have helped. They usually take some time.
