Default 98 grand motor into a 98 cherokee??

Motor not fitting correctly.....Is it motor mounts and can the cherokee mounts be put on the grand motor??? Or do I just need to keep wiggling?

I would take off the GC mount brackets and put the XJ brackets onto the motor (if they line up)

That is my question....will the XJ mounts fit in/on the correct spot on the GC motor? I didnt know if anyone has come across this issue.
After swapping the flywheel everything else seems to be the same.

I think they will. the engines for the grand Cherokee and Cherokee seam to over lap from 92-98. haven't done this myself but it should work as they share the same part numbers.

So you think the bolt hole patterns for the motor mount brackets on the GC and XJ blocks are the same?
