96 XJ leaf pack question ,,,
I did a bunch of searching and could not really find the answer to what is on my mind. So here goes.
I have a 96XJ,,,2 door with a 2.5 and a 5 speed. When I bought the Jeep I noticed that it had a "race car" stance, so I did some measuring and found the rear to be 2" taller than the front. So I added a 2" spacer to "level" it out.
My quandry is this,,, I am amassing parts to lift it and I am pretty sure that I can get what I want in the rear with a bastard pack.
BUT
All the threads here say to take them apart (remove clamps or wraps) add the leave(s) then redo the center pin.
MY rear leafs are "pinned" together in several places along the entire length. AND they have 6 leaves,, not the usual 4 that I have been seeing in images I have searched.
I am looking to end up with 6" of lift when its done.
So I guess I am asking,, do I have "lifted" leafs already? and can mine be seperated,,added to,, then re-pinned?
Thanks everyone for all the parts already

Picture of the places they are "pinned" please. There should only be 1 pin though the leaves in the center. Along the sides of the leafs there should be bands. Sometimes the ends of each leaf have a piece of plastic pinned to them to help them slid as the spring flexes.
I don't see how the springs could flex if they are basically bolted together in multiple spots.
