Default 96 Dodge dana 44's in XJ?

hey guys, i came across a cheap set of stock dana 44's from a 96 ram. obviously i know these arnt going to bolt right in by any means, i was just wondering if theres a XJ on here that runs them? i search but didnt find anything. These axles are cheap and probably going to go fast so i'd like to jump on them if they'll somewhat work.

Going to be low pinion, unit bearing (no lock outs) and good chance it's a CAD axle.

im very fimiliar with these axles (i've owned a few rams) and i can grab the pair of axles for 175 bucks is the only reason im inquiring about this.

theres nothing around here for axles. i've found a few 30's in decent shape and these 44's.

looks like im building me a 30, thanks

The rear 9.25 that goes with it isn't much of a find either, very little aftermarket support and not really much stronger than a 8.25 and c-clipped as well.
