Default 94 cherokee Transfer Case

Will a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Transfer Case fit on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee?? They both have the same engine and the are both automatics.

Good chance and they'd both be 23 spline but they could be different lengths.

You may have to change the input gear, but other than that I think it would be the same bolt pattern to the tranny. If you do need a different input gear you should be able to swap the one out of your 94 tc into the 98 tc, just different lengths.
