92 XJ 6" lift...need extended brake lines
Precisely, before adding longer lines my fronts were at their limit sitting in the driveway.
No possible way a stock XJ line would work at 8" of lift. I can almost max my fronts lines now and that's with relocated hard lines and YJ lines, with the front 3-linked I could drop a coil on the trail if I pushed it.

If ya wanna get crazy dodge ram van lines do work on the front and are hella long. I've got them on 4.5 and have plenty of room. I can drop a coil out flexing and they are still pretty loose.

Dude. You have 8inches of lift. So your breaklines should be almost pulled stiff at rest. Are you wheeling with the swaybar attached or do you have longer brakelines that you dont know about ? Especially with drop brackets. I am not hating either. But something is wrong here. Something is limiting your flex to almost 0 if your lines are stock and not ripping in half. (maybe shocks ? ) I also want to see pics of your lines at rest.
Theyre plentt long, they don't flop around n they arent relocated they hang there just fine, and as for the rear I got new brake lines cuz the old onea broke and they happened ro be longer. Ill post pics when im home tomorrow
Tucked the tire all the way in the wheel well, no problem. Get great flex and droop, stock lines. With no shocks.. finally just put shocks on it the other day. And my rear flexes okay will be better after I do ashackle relocation
I have to call BS on the factory lines. They may have the same appearance as factory lines (you can get longer lines that aren't braided steel), but I have factory lines on mine with a 3 inch lift and they are maxed out when I flex. At 8 inch you wouldn't be able to hit a pot hole with the wheel turned it would rip the rubber line. They may look factory, but YJ lines have the same appearance as XJ lines but are 3 inches longer. If you want us to believe you post pics.
