I know these pop up a lot, if someone could eiether respond or just link me to another thread. Anyway I'm putting a 3in RC lift on my Cherokee. I know I need longer brake lines and a SYE, am I missing anything else?

 

You don't need an sye but if u have the extra Money it won't hurt to do it. A 3 inch lift shouldn't be pretty straight forward you shouldn't need anything the kit doesn't come with other than possibly brake lines but even the stock ones would probably work if you just relocate them

Well I need my Cherokee to pass inspections first. While driving it to a buddys show to do the brakes. I noticed it wouldn't shift gears unless I redlined it. What could be the problem?

 

Could be a few things.

But I would start another thread in OEM Tech asking those questions.

Asking trans questions in a thread about lifting your 89 may not yeild good results.
